I woke up this morning thinking about “blessings.” We all know that God moves in “mysterious ways”; and sometimes, it’s just us trying to have OUR way. One thing that I have learned, that I want to make clear, is that God’s will is clearly written in the Bible. AND, God has given us the ability to CHOOSE what we want and how we want to live our lives. But, just because we want something, doesn’t make that thing God’s will. And, just because He allows us to have it, and even turns it around for our good, does not mean that the way we got it was ever His will.
Now I KNOW I’m about to step on some toes writing this, but it must be expressed. Please understand: I’m not professing to be perfect. I’ve made plenty of moral mistakes myself. But I was wrong when I made my mistakes, and everyone else was just as wrong when they made theirs. That being said, let me give some examples. Continue reading »
